the Thai Supreme Court upheld the death sentence of motorcycle taxi rider Sirimongkol Reunnak, 38, for raping, robbing and killing Mathayom-4 student Wewimol Sirivej, 16, behind Bangkok's Don Meuang housing estate in 2006.
The court also ordered him to pay Bt600,000 in compensation to the victim's family. This is the second time the death sentence was upheld.
