a provincial court in Thailand sentenced Wijai Narkwan to death for killing policemen Thanee Buaphan, and Pol Sergeant Somkrit Uthai-ruek in a shootout at a busy intersection in Ratchaburi province on May 2, 2010. The police were coming to search Wijai’s home for narcotics.
