THAILAND. DOCTOR VISUT SENTENCED TO DEATH

the Thai Appeals Court ruled that Doctor Visut Boonkasemsanti was to be put to death for killing his wife, Mrs. Phassaporn, who disappeared in early 2001.
Visut, a doctor at the state-run Chulalongkorn Hospital, had filed a missing person's case with police after reporting that his wife had disappeared.
However, an investigation showed that, contrary to the doctor's assertions, he had taken his wife to dinner the evening before her disappearance, an event captured by a security camera.
