Thailand’s Supreme Court upheld a lower court’s decision to convict and sentence to death Major Chalermchai Majchaklam for murdering a Yasothon governor in 2001.

Thailand’s Supreme Court upheld a lower court’s decision to convict and sentence to death Major Chalermchai Majchaklam for murdering a Yasothon governor in 2001.
According to the ruling, Chalermchai, alias Major Tueng, and two accomplices – Sgt. Manit Srisa-ard and Sgt. Suwat Kham-ngao, murdered then Yasothon governor Prina Lepattana on March 4 2001.
