THAILAND. TWO FOREIGN NATIONALS SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR DRUG CRIMES
Lin Hau Yang and Edy Tang, on death row in Bangkok, had their death sentences for drug convictions confirmed by the Thai high court, the Dutch Foreign Ministry said.

Lin Hau Yang and Edy Tang, on death row in Bangkok, had their death sentences for drug convictions confirmed by the Thai high court, the Dutch Foreign Ministry said. Originally from China, the two Rotterdam residents had initially been acquitted of the charges, but after a high court appeal made by the Head of the Justice Department in Thailand, the two men were given the death sentence. Following the conviction they only have 60 days in which to request a pardon.
