the 33rd chamber of the the Supreme Court in Iran confirmed the death sentence of Abbas Hosseini, 24, for a murder committed when he was 17. The sentence was sent to the judicial authority for final ratification. The victim's relatives refused to pardon Hosseini. He was sentenced in June 2004 by the tribunal in Mashad for the murder that the chjld confessed to committing in a ‘mad rage’ after the victim attempted to rape him.
