The Communists presented four questions to be raised in a projected referendum aimed at blocking the government's reforms

The Communists presented four questions to be raised in a projected referendum aimed at blocking the government's reforms. Among questions there is: "Is it necessary to introduce the death penalty for grave crimes?"
The questions have been formulated so that most people will probably answer "yes". Chairman of the Central Election Commission Alexander Veshnyakov already said he did not believe the CPRF is able to collect enough signatures (2 million needed) for the referendum. Such motions usually take 7-9 months, and next summer the political environment might change.
