The Director of Narcotic Control Bureau, Awg Hj Momin B. Hj Sawal, said that a new legislation is in the pipeline to review the existing Misuse of Drug law. Currently, those caught for possessing 200 grammes of Syabu will be sentenced to death by hanging.
The new law will mean that those who possess even less than 200 grammes of the drug would face the gallows.
