the Egyptian Organisation for Human Rights said that 5 of the 35 Egyptians on death row in al-Kwafiyah prison in Benghazi, Libya, had paid blood money and received pardons from the victims’ families. They are Farhat Abdu Farhat, Sami Fathi Abd-Rabbu, Ala Salim Rimon, Hasan Darwish and Abd-al-Halim Sayyid Abd-al-Halim. The organisation fears they will be executed.
