The European Union (EU) Commission issued a written statement pertaining to the decision and approaches of the National Security Council (NSC), noting that it perceived them as "positive signals".
The written statement, bearing the signature of Jean-Christophe Filori, one of the Commission spokesman, said they hailed the positive approaches of the NSC's recommendatory decision pertaining to removal of Emergency Rule, death penalty, education and broadcast in languages apart from Turkish.
