The Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan sent an open letter to the Uzbek government demanding the immediate release of Muslims sentenced to death in prisons for their religious beliefs. The letter stated that should the slanders addressed to Muslims and the Islamic movement not stop they would tale revenge and create difficulties for the police force, the prosecutors office and the National Security Service.
