The Kyrgyz military court sentenced Russian citizen Ruslan Abdulin and Tajik citizen Ravshan Sharipov to death. Kyrgyz government troops captured Abdulin and Sharipov in the southern part of the country during military operations in the Batken region. They were tried in Osh and charged with violating seven articles of the Kyrgyz Criminal Code, in particular, terrorism, murder, hostage taking, and participation in a criminal activities.
