The mother of a man killed by a car bomb in Saudi Arabia asked for clemency towards the Scottish man convicted of murdering him.Sandy Mitchell faces death by beheading after a Saudi Court convicted him of a car bombing campaign.Ann Howlett, the mother of Christopher Rodway, 48, who was killed in the car bomb explosion, said she thought he was innocent and his life should be saved."He should be punished if he did kill my son, but I do not think he did," she said.Rodway's father, Jeremy, who died in June, had called for his son's killers to be executed. However, in a last-minute reprieve, he retracted his comments because he thought Mitchell had been tried by a kangaroo court.
