The Muslim Brotherhood movement in Syria expressed its readiness to deal with the new Syrian leadership. Muslim Brotherhood Controller-General Ali Sadr-al-Din al-Bayanuni said that releasing all political prisoners, allowing freedom of expression, recognising pluralism and democracy, eradicating extrajudicial security prosecutions, and ending the application of Law No 41, which provides for the execution of members of opposition parties, would help to open a new chapter in relations between the movement and the new regime.
