The Nyala court in Southern Darfur State, western Sudan, headed by judge Mukhtar Ibrahim Adam, passed a death sentence on Adam Harun Issa, Ahmad Muhammad Abd-al Qadir and Musa Issa Diku.
The three Sudanese nationals were sentenced to death by hanging in accordance with articles 21, 310 and 168 of the country's Penal code after they were found guilty of premeditated murder.
The three convicted men allegedly opened fire on a group of residents returning from the market of Dur Kafir in the area of Abu-Ajurah, south of Nyala, killing one person and wounding several others.
