The first five, lead by Khaled Zebalkikh, were found guilty of an attempt against a platoon in Zemmouri, near Bourmedés, and of the murder of two civilians in 2005. The other five were sentenced to death for ‘belonging to armed terrorist groups, attempted murder and bombings.’
