The Saudi Interior ministry said the country had executed Saqr bin Abdulaziz al-Subayee in the western city of Taif after he had been convicted the previous month of fatally shooting another Saudi during an argument.
The conservative kingdom, which implements strict Islamic sharia law, executes convicted murderers, rapists and drug traffickers, usually by public beheading with a sword.
