The Ukrainian Independent Information Agency (UNIAN) reported that two Ukrainians, Ruslan Voytyuk, born in 1973, and Oleksander Kuskin, born in 1978, had lodged an appeal to the Supreme Court of Belarus against their death sentences for the murder of a businessman and his wife on July 26, 2002. It was reported that the Ukrainian citizens, hoping to seize a large sum of money, raided the house of businessman Grigoriy Belous. "The master of the house and his wife were shot, and their son was wounded," the report stated. No further information was available relative the case.
