the Vietnamese security police arrested and savagely killed two Degar (Montagnard) Christians named Y-Song Nie, 24, from the village of Buon Pok, commune Ea Kan, and Y-Huang Nie, 23, from the village of Buon Kreh, commune Ea Kan. They were returning to their village after having participated in a peaceful protest for the release of three Christians, who were arrested on April 9, at the commune of Ea Kan. The security police broke both their legs, both their hands and cracked their skulls. After murdering them, the security police returned the bodies to their village and ordered their families to bury the corpses in one grave and provided them with one coffin for both corpses, one 100Kg bag of rice and 1,000,000 dong (about 66.00 USD) for each family. Then, the Vietnamese security police threatened the families not to tell anyone about deaths, especially to Degars who are living in the US. They said that they would come back and kill all them if they did.
