The Wiesenthal Center, a US-based human rights organization, urged the Chinese government not to return a North Korean refugee, who claimed to have witnessed the use of gas chambers in the country. "This refugee is the source of the serious allegation that the North Korean Camp 22 operated a gas chamber, and his deportation would be tantamount to death sentence," said Rabbi Araham Cooper, associate dean of the Wiesenthal Center.
