Three men were hanged in the prison of Birjand in eastern Iran, reported the daily enwspaper Khorasan.
The men who were not identified by name, were convicted of murdering several security forces under armed clashed close to the eastern borders of Iran.
The three were put to death in front of the families of the slain policemen.
