Judge Md Abdus Salek condemned to death Md Saiful Islam Bhuiyan, 60, Shahjamal Akanda, 45, and Abdul Momin, 50.
The lifetimers are Rahijuddin alias Tipu Master, 55, Abdur Rashid Sheikh, 50, Helal, 45, Ismail Hossain, 42, Nuru Sheikh, 50 and Gafur Naiya, 60.
The court also acquitted 14 others in the same case.
The case statement reads that all the accused Sarbahara leaders, led by Abdul Momin, shot Golam Azam and Shahjahan Ali to death on July 31 in 2001 in Battola Bazar under Belkuchi upazila of the district.
