Twelve convicted felons were sentenced and executed in central Henan province, as courts embarked on the annual pre-Lunar New Year flurry of executions. The 12, who were tried in 11 separate cases, were sentenced by the Zhengzhou People's Intermediate Court with executions being carried out immediately.
