Two brothers convicted of drug smuggling were publicly hanged in a park in eastern Tehran. "Karim and Aziz Maqsoudian Kelvari were convicted for buying and selling 128 kilos (281 pounds) of heroin, possessing 176 kilos (387 pounds) of heroin and two illegal military rifles," the city's judiciary public relations said.
