Two Burmese men were sentenced to death by the Criminal Court for a series of crimes that culminated in five murders. The former Mon soldiers, identified as Chai and Mai, used M-16 assault rifles to kill five Burmese workers and a Thai identified as Sathien Polsena, in Tha Sae district on June 10, 2000.
