TWO EXECUTED FOR KIDNAPPING, MURDERING CHILDREN IN S. CHINA

Kong Jinlin, 36, from Meizhou City in Guangdong, and Shu Luwen, 23, were executed in south China's Guangdong Province. The Shenzen Intermediate People's Court said Kong suffocated an 11-year-old boy in Futian District on November 17, 2009, after unsuccessfully kidnapping him for ransom. Shu suffocated an 5-year-old girl in Futian District in October, 2005, after unsuccessfully kidnapping her for ransom.
