Chen Zhiyi and Yang Quan were executed in southwest China, a spokesman with the Chongqing municipal procurator said. They were sentenced in December 2009. Chen was convicted crimes including organizing and leading a gang, robbery, fraud, blackmail and illegally buying and selling firearms. Yang was convicted of organizing a gang, intentional injury and running a gambling operation. Chen was fined 30.6 million yuan and Yang 15 million yuan.
