TWO GET DEATH SENTENCE IN KIDNAPPING CASE

Judge Malik Safdar Hussain of the Anti-terrorism court in Pakistan handed down the death sentence to Hikmat Shah and Daud Ibrahim for kidnapping. Shahid Ali was sentenced to life imprisonment and the court released the two other accused, Yasir Ali and Sohail Qadir. According to the prosecution, the gang kidnapped Kamran Mehmood, an estate agent of Chaklala Scheme III, and demanded a huge ransom from the victim’s family on August 14, 2006. The police rescued the victim on September 8, 2006 and arrested the five accused.
