TWO-IN-FIVE RUSSIANS SUPPORT DEATH PENALTY

44 per cent of Russians think capital punishment should be fully re-instated and applied, according to a Russian Public Opinion Research Centre poll. 18 per cent said the death penalty should be completely abolished, while 29 per cent would preserve the current moratorium.
