a Bangladeshi farm worker who axed his Indian colleague to death in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, was sentenced to death by a Sharia court. Arman, a Bangladeshi was awarded the death sentence for killing Indian national Natashatiram with a huge axe five years ago, annoyed by the taunts he was subjected to. The court was not able to trace the blood parents of the victim and hence decided that the public prosecutor will have the right to ask for capital punishment. Arman who was working illegally in Dubai was nabbed in 2007 when a worker fixing the gate of the farm dug up a skull and bones, the Gulf News reported. Arman told police that Natashatiram used to tell him that their boss showered favours on him as he was a homosexual which enraged him.
