UAE: DRUG DEALER SENTENCED TO DEATH IN ABU DHABI

A criminal court in Abu Dhabi sentenced a drug dealer from another Gulf country to death after he was convicted of smuggling narcotics.
The court also sentenced his accomplice to four years in prison and ordered his deportation from the UAE, according to the Arabic language daily Al Khaleej.
The paper did not identify the defendants but court sources said they can appeal the sentence.
