UAE: MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH AFTER STABBING NEIGHBOR 13 TIMES

An Asian man has appealed his death sentence after being accused of murdering his neighbor and trying to rape his wife, khaleejtimes reported on 25 October 2018.
According to Emarat Al Youm, the man had trespassed his neighbor’s apartment and tried to sexually harass the woman. She eagerly called her husband, who came with two of his workmates and fought with the accused. The accused then stabbed him thirteen times using a knife.
The lawyer demanded for the acquittal of his client. The verdict is set to be delivered by Abu Dhabi appeals court on November 13.
