UK. BRITAIN SIGNS DEPORTATION DEAL WITH JORDAN

Britain signed an agreement with Jordan, which allowed British courts to depart Jordanians considered to pose a threat to its national security and public order, the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) confirmed.

Britain signed an agreement with Jordan, which allowed British courts to depart Jordanians considered to pose a threat to its national security and public order, the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) confirmed.
Under the agreement, Britain could deport Jordanians who incited or condoned acts of terrorism in preaching or writing and Jordan would have to guarantee that a deportee would not be tortured or otherwise mistreated at home and would not face the death penalty.
