the Federal Supreme Court in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, sentenced a man identified as RMA to death for murdering his wife, in her twenties, in Dibba Fujairah in 2009.
The Criminal Court sentenced the man to death and ordered him to pay a fine of Dhs1,000. He appealed against the verdict and the Fujairah Appellate Court ordered a life sentence and a fine of Dhs 1,000.
The Public Prosecution and the victim’s father appealed against the verdict, and the Federal Supreme Court issued the previous term.
