UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: TWO GET DEATH PENALTY FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING

Judge Ahmed Al Azwari of the Fujairah Shariah Criminal Court in the United Arab Emirates sentenced two men to death for drug trafficking. The men were arrested on November 3, 2008, with 16.2kg of hashish and pills of a banned medicine following a tip off.
