USA - A jury recommended the death penalty today for Tecumseh Colbert

A jury recommended the death penalty today for Tecumseh Colbert, 24. A sentencing hearing was scheduled for Sept. 8 by San Diego Superior Court Judge Michael D. Wellington. Colbert has been found guilty of the Oct. 29, 2004 murder of Robert McCamey, 32, and of the Nov. 10, 2004 murder of Richard Hammes, 45. Co-defendant Theron Peters pleaded guilty last year to 1st-degree murder and other charges and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
