Circuit Judge John England sentenced James Scott Largin, 37, to die by lethal injection for the March 2007 shooting deaths of his father, Jimmy Largin, 68, and mother, Peggy Largin, 56. The judge agreed with the jury, which on August 25, 2009 (see) recommended the death penalty in an 11-1 vote. Prosecutors said Largin shot his parents on march 16, 2007, before stealing money, prescription pills and credit cards. He then went on a 24-hour drug binge, using their credit cards to buy video game systems he traded for drugs.
