USA - Alabama. The House Judiciary Committee approved SB 187 to shorten the time for appellate review

The House Judiciary Committee approved and sent to the full House SB 187 that would shorten the amount of time available for post-conviction appellate review of capital convictions and death sentences. The bill already passed the Senate on April 18 (see).
