Governor Asa Hutchinson signed HB 1751 (now Act 1096) that creates a new execution protocol allowing state to use either a single dose of a barbiturate or a 3-drug cocktail. The law would also provide anonymity to drug suppliers. The law passed the House (73-3) on Mar 26, 2015 and the Senate (25-4) on Apr 1, 2015.
