A Riverside County jury recommended the death penalty for Earl Elllis Green, 46, black, the man convicted of shooting police Officer Ryan Bonaminio, 27, on the night of Nov. 7, 2010. Green is scheduled to return to the Hall of Justice in Riverside on June 25 to be sentenced by Judge Jean Pfeifer Leonard.
