USA - California. A Tulare County jury voted in favor of the death penalty for Adrian Ortiz.

A Tulare County jury voted unanimously in favor of the death penalty for Adrian Ortiz, 31, Hispanic. Ortiz was convicted of killing a 23-year-old man on April 21, 2009. Ortiz fled to Mexico where the U.S. Marshall Fugitive Task Force, with assistance from Mexican authorities, captured him in Aug. 2012.
