USA - California. Judge Eric M. Nakata sentenced James Ellis to death

San Bernardino County Superior Court Judge Eric M. Nakata sentenced James Ellis, 28, Black, to death in connection to the Nov. 23, 2009 double murder of 28-year-old Ealy Davis, Jr. and 26-year-old Shameka Reliford perpetrated during a drug deal. A jury found Ellis guilty of 2 counts of 1st-degree murder and criminal street gang activity last October and sentenced him to death on Nov. 16, 2016 (see).
