Superior Court Judge Francisco Briseno today affirmed the death sentence for Armando Macias, 35, Latino, upholding the May 19 (see) Orange County jury’s recommendation. Macias was found guilty of the Oct. 2, 2002 killing of David Montemayor, 44.
