USA - California. Two Riverside County juries sentenced Glen Joseph Jones and Jeffree Jay Buettner to death

Separate Riverside County juries recommended today that Glen Joseph Jones, 26, and Jeffree Jay Buettner, 34, both white, should suffer the death penalty for slaying a teenage girl in May 2002. Last month, the same juries convicted both men. Stephanie Benton, 18, white, was beaten and strangled because the 2 believed she'd been talking to investigators about crimes the pair had committed. Jones and Buettner will be sentenced April 23rd.
