A Seminole County jury has recommended 7-5 the death penalty for William Davis, 33, white. He was convicted of first-degree murder, kidnapping and sexual battery in May in the 2009 death of 19-year-old Fabiana Malave. Davis' next hearing is September 10 with the sentencing 60 days later.
