USA - Florida. A jury sentenced James Colley to death

A St. Johns County jury chose unanimously the death penalty in the case of James Colley, Jr. (38, White). In the murders of his estranged wife Amanda Colley (36) and her friend Lindy Dobbins (39). The jury that convicted Colley last week of the Aug. 27, 2015 murders of Colley and Dobbins, took less than three hours to return the unanimous recommendation of the death penalty in both murders. Colley was also convicted of two counts of attempted first-degree murder for trying to kill two other people — one of them his wife’s boyfriend — who were in the home at the time of the shootings.
