Circuit Judge Dan L. Vaughn imposed the death penalty on Eriese Tisdale. Tisdale, 28, Black, was convicted in October of fatally shooting Sgt. Gary Morales during a Feb. 28, 2013 traffic stop. A jury recommended he receive the death penalty. Before he was sentenced, Tisdale spoke to the court, WPTV-NewsChannel 5 reports. "I am truly regretful for being responsible for the pain that the Morales family has today," he said.
