Circuit Judge R. Michael Hutcheson sentenced Joseph Jordan, 43, White, to death. On April 24 (see) a Volusia County jury recommended death for Jordan, convicted of 1st-degree felony murder and robbery for the death of Keith Cope, 50. Cope died July 13, 2009, of injuries suffered when Jordan left him hog-tied to his bed for 4 days after robbing him of his pickup and debit card.
