USA - Florida. The Florida Supreme Court has reversed the death sentence of Matthew Lee Caylor

The Florida Supreme Court has reversed the death sentence of Matthew Lee Caylor because it was imposed after non-unanimous jury sentencing recommendations. Caylor, 41, White, was sentenced to death on Dec. 11, 2009 (see) for raping and killing Melinda Hinson, 13, on July 8, 2008. A Bay County jury had recommended the death penalty 8-4 on Oct. 30, 2009 (see).
