USA - Florida. The Florida Supreme Court overturned the death sentence of Joel Lebron

The Florida Supreme Court overturned the death sentence of Joel Lebron imposed after a nonunanimous (9-3) sentencing recommendation by the jury. Lebron, 38, Black, was convicted in 2012 in the April 27, 2002 rape and murder of 18-year-old Ana Maria Angel and the attempted murder of her boyfriend. (see 05/10/2012 and 31/01/2013)
